| Description: This two story updated Colonial Carriage house has three car bays on the first floor. The outside entrance stair leads to the second floor loft apartment. This design offers multiple possibilities: a vacation house, a retirement house, an expandable house using the first floor as an additional apartment for renting purposes, or a starter house built in the rear of the property and later rented for income after the mainhouse is built. The garage doors are adorned with old-fashioned iron strap hinges and the carriage lamp sconces add a Dutch Colonial flavor to the overall design. On the second floor there are four dormers with circle-top glass windows that are set into a
gambrel roof topped with a cupola. The second floor layout offers an eat-in kitchen which is located at the top of the stairs. The living-dining area sits at the front of the plan with an adjoining den that can be used as a second bedroom. A master bedroom with a full bath completes the plan. Height is 22' to the main ridge.
